Issue 3 Explained: Economic Development Districts in Arkansas

Vote YES on 3!!! On August 26, 2026, Gabe Holstrom and Cliff McKinney joined our members to break down Issue 3, a proposed constitutional amendment that would allow local communities to create Economic Development Districts to fund projects such as infrastructure, housing, broadband and revitalization using new revenue generated by economic growth. The presentation covered how EDDs would work, where funding comes from, and the local oversight and public input required.
