OSHA 501

This 4-day course authorizes attendees to teach OSHA 10- and 30-hour general industry safety and health courses. Participants develop expertise in adult education methods and industry-specific hazards, especially in high-risk non-construction settings.

Prerequisites:

• OSHA 511 completed within the past 7 years

• 5 years of general industry safety experience

• A degree in safety or CSP/CIH certification may substitute for 2 years of experience
