34th ANNUAL STEVE CRANFORD MEMORIAL FISHING TOURNAMENT will be held Friday, April 10 – Sunday, April 12, 2026 at Mountain Harbor Resort on Lake Ouachita.

REGISTRATION $250: Includes Tournament Registration for a Two-Man Boat, Dinner for 2 Nights, Beverages, and Goodie Bags and Door Prizes for Fishermen ONLY. 

SPONSORSHIPS ARE ALSO AVAILABLE AND GREATLY APPRECIATED! As a sponsor you will receive recognition during the event and on all promotional materials. Funds collected will go to the AGC Building Fund as per Steve Cranford’s wishes, and a portion of the proceeds will go to the UA Little Rock Endowment per Lillian Cranford.

FOOD & DRINK: Friday and Saturday night dinners, beer soft drinks and water are included for fishermen ONLY. Non-fishing guests MUST register by the deadline, and will be charged as follows:

Registration MUST BE DONE online. REGISTRATION ENDS AT MIDNIGHT APRIL 3, 2026 or until the 80 team maximum has been reached. We will not be holding teams. 

TOURNAMENT RULES:

AT LEAST ONE PERSON PER TEAM MUST BE AN AGC ARKANSAS MEMBER. NO EXCEPTIONS.

CHECK-IN – You must check in with the AGC Friday night at 6pm. Fishing starts at sunrise on Saturday and Sunday.

SAFETY – Safe motoring conduct MUST be observed at all times. Each person must wear a Coast Guard approved life preserver when the engine is running. 

TACKLE & EQUIPMENT – Artificial lures, pork or pork-type strips may be used. Trolling is not allowed. Any one person may fish with only one rod at any time. No live bait. 

LEGAL FISH – Largemouth, smallmouth and spotted/Kentucky bass with a minimum length of 13 inches will be legal tournament bass.  All bass less than 13 inches will be released immediately.  Bass will be measured according to the rules and regulations of the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission of which all will apply.  The length limit rule will be strictly enforced.  Each boat will weigh their largest 5 (five) fish each day of their legal limit and fish weighed must be alive.

You may bring in your largest non-bass fish to be weighed to be eligible for a $100 prize.

SCORING OF POINTS – Scoring will be determined by the total weight of fish brought to the scales by each team.  In case of a tie in total weight, the team with the largest bass will be declared the winner.

YOU MUST BE IN LINE by 2:00 p.m. ON SATURDAY AND 1:00 p.m. ON SUNDAY TO BE ELIGIBLE TO WEIGH.  NO EXCEPTIONS!

We will blow an airhorn and make an announcement with the bullhorn 5 minutes before close. At 2pm on Saturday, and 1pm on Sunday, we will affix a neon green tag to the back of the last person in line. If you see this tag, you are too late. 

WEIGH-IN WILL BE BELOW THE CONFERENCE ROOM

Any protest shall be registered with a member of the AGC Fishing Committee at the time of the weigh-in.  All decisions of the AGC Fishing Committee are final.
