Exciting Development
In case you haven't heard, during the membership meeting at last month's Annual Meeting, we voted to partner with the Arkansas Construction Education Foundation (ACEF) to help better provide apprenticeship training to our industry and our current and future workforces.  We are grateful for ACEF's willingness to lock arms with AGC to create opportunities and programs that we can all be proud of to generate better-trained employees and a safer workplace.

OSHA Partnership
AGC Arkansas' strategic partnership with OSHA affirms our shared commitment toward providing a safe work environment, improving participating contractor's safety and health management systems, and increasing safety awareness through outreach and training. Read more about the partnership by clicking here.  Participating AGC member companies can take advantage of numerous benefits. For more information about the partnership or your company's eligibility contact, Joe Morgan, Manager of Safety & Training, AGC Arkansas.

Annual Meeting Benefits
As a part of his presentation at last month's Annual Meeting, Rob McKinney with JBKnowledge offered AGC Arkansas members a free technology evaluation.  Their online tool is a beneficial first step in the process of gauging your company's “technology health”.  Rob and his consulting team provide the Construction Technology Health Checkup, which can be accessed by clicking here. Companies completing the survey will receive a checkup report and no-obligation review of the results.  Rob can be reached directly at (404) 640-2549 or rob.mckinney@jbknowledge.com.

Also from the Annual Meeting, Procore is providing our members with a $400 discount off of the registration fee for their upcoming Groundbreak 2017 conference to be held March 29-31 in Austin, Texas.  Use discount code ACGAK to take advantage of the discount as an AGC Arkansas member. Contact the Procore presenter directly at chandler.brooks@procore.com.
