Little Rock, Ark. January 10, 2019: AGC Arkansas announces the slate of 2019 officers for Arkansas' largest and oldest general contracting association. Each year the association's members elect leaders from the three main arms of the construction industry (building, highway and utility), as well as representation from associate and affiliate partners. This year Roger Marlin of the building division was chosen to lead the organization as 2019 President. Marlin is a 25-year veteran of the industry and is currently the president of Hydco, Inc. of North Little Rock.
“I'm honored to serve as the president of Arkansas' strongest advocate for the construction industry. This year, we will focus on finding a long-term funding solution for our roads and developing the skilled trades pipeline,” notes Marlin.
Additional executive committee members include Mark Windle of Manhattan Road & Bridge, serving as Vice President/Treasurer and Steve Forsgren of Forsgren Inc., who holds the office of Secretary. Representatives of the Associate and Future Leaders Divisions are Jeff Littlefield of Stribling Equipment and Jonathan Foster of Weaver-Bailey, respectively. The 2018 President, Kevin Coakley of Coakley Company, remains on the executive committee as the Immediate Past President.
AGC ARKANSAS is the regional organization of the Associated General Contractors of America, Inc. Established in 1934, the organization is a voluntary trade association of commercial general contracting firms (highway, building, and utility); specialty contractors; as well as supply and service firms.
