2024 AGC Arkansas Recap

AGC Arkansas Executive Vice President, Brad Spradlin, gives members our end-of-year recap.
Dear AGC Arkansas Family,

Thank you all so much for your membership and support! Thanks to you, it has been another banner year for AGC Arkansas as we continue to break records, grow our membership, our voice, and strengthen the commercial construction industry here in Arkansas.

As 2024 comes to an end, I wanted to give you all an update on all your support has allowed us to accomplish this year:

- We were awarded the National Small Chapter of the Year award for the second year in a row, for our work in 2023, but 2024 has proven to be an even bigger success!

-We are proud to have broken our event record of 47 last year by having hosted 69 this year. All of them breaking attendance and sponsorship level records set in 2023

-In just one year, we recruited a whopping 34 members, resulting in a 17% increase in member growth! Growing so much we're now officially a medium-sized chapter with a budget of over $1M going into 2025. Another first!

- We held onto an outstanding retention rate of 96%

- Opened a new office in Northwest Arkansas

- Held our first AGC BUILD Arkansas awards

- Increased PAC funds and saw incredible success by distributing $67,000 to 53 campaigns, and of those we celebrated 52 wins

- Increased our in-house safety & training course offerings from 15 to over 60!

The changes and improvements made in 2024 have set us up for even greater success in 2025. There's a lot to look forward to as we plan to work with Len Toenjes of AGC Missouri and the board on a new strategic plan, implement our new contractor dues structure, and head into General Sessions strong on January 13. I encourage you to become involved in our legislative committee so you can see firsthand the strength of our voice as an association and the level of commitment myself and our team of lobbyists have to represent you at the Capitol.

We truly appreciate everything you have done for us over the last year, and hope to continue to grow our chapter, skills, and services. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to serve as your Executive Vice President and I hope to have made you as proud to be a part of AGC Arkansas as I am.

Sincerely,

Brad Spradlin
Executive Vice President
