ACEF Awarded $1M HIRED Grant

Our partners at the Arkansas Censtruction Education Foundation (ACEF) were awarded $1M grant through Arkansas' Higher Industry Readiness through Educational Development (HIRED) program!
To kickoff National Apprenticeship Week, we've got some AWESOME news from our partners at Arkansas Construction Education Foundation (ACEF)!
We are thrilled and proud to announce that ACEF has been awarded $1M through Arkansas' Higher Industry Readiness through Educational Development (HIRED) program!
This grant was made possible by the Workforce Initiative Act of 2015, aims to address our state's workforce training needs through dedicated funding for industry-driven partnerships and data-informed education and training programs.
These funds will enable ACEF to continue their heavy/civil construction training initiatives, and allow them to purchase essential training equipment to establish Arkansas FIRST registered apprenticeship program for diesel mechanics!!! Additionally, it will allow them to acquire heavy machinery to enhance both their diesel mechanics and heavy equipment operator training programs.
