What is the Arkansas AGC?

The Arkansas Chapter of the Associated General Contractors of America, Inc. is a voluntary trade association of commercial general contracting firms (building, highway and utility), specialty contractors and supply and service firms. The Arkansas Chapter was established in 1934. Its primary objectives are to pursue skill, integrity, and responsibility, provide training and to serve as the voice of the construction industry in Arkansas.

What is the Purpose of the Arkansas AGC?

  • To promote good relations between contractors and all segments of the construction industry.

  • To maintain high professional standards.

  • To enhance the image of the construction industry by sponsoring educational meetings and training seminars.

  • To represent the industry before local, state and national government bodies providing the knowledge and experience of its members.
