The Arkansas AGC has established three different
ways to recognize the individuals that have made a significant
contribution to the construction industry and or to the
association.
The
Arkansas Construction Hall of Fame
was established to honor and recognize outstanding individuals in
the construction industry. These individuals are held in esteem by
their peers and have demonstrated their professionalism through
active support of the industry and through their civic and
community involvement. A selection committee compiled of
architects, engineers, contractors and the Director of the
Arkansas State Highway & Transportation Department determine the recipients of this honor
from nominations submitted by the public.
The
Distinguished Service (DSA) Award may be presented
annually to a contractor and associate member of the association
who has made significant contributions to the welfare of the
association. Past DSA recipients determine recipients of this
award.
The
SIR
(Skill, Integrity, Responsibility) Award may be presented
annually to an individual outside of the association whose
leadership and activities have enhanced the construction industry.
